Quotes, estimates and bookings

Prices, estimates and availability shown online are indicative until confirmed in writing by our team. Final pricing depends on an assessment of your specific needs. Bookings are confirmed only when you receive a confirmation from us.

Cancellations

Please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Any applicable cancellation terms will be explained when your booking is confirmed.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Rental agreement

Reservations made on this website are requests to rent a vehicle class. The full terms of your rental are set out in the rental agreement you sign at pickup, which takes priority over this summary if the two differ.

• The main driver must be 21 or older with a valid license and a card in their name.
• Vehicles may only be driven by authorized drivers listed on the rental agreement.
• Unlimited miles apply within California, Nevada and Arizona unless your agreement says otherwise.
• Late returns beyond a 29-minute grace period are billed hourly up to one additional day.

Optional damage waivers

Collision damage waivers offered by Coastline Car Hire are optional and are not insurance. In line with California Civil Code section 1939.09, purchasing a damage waiver is never a condition of renting a vehicle, and the waiver may duplicate coverage you already have through personal insurance or a credit card.

Fees and charges

Prices shown on this website are sample figures for demonstration. Actual rates, taxes, airport concession fees, customer facility charges and optional extras are disclosed before you confirm a reservation.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of CA.
